Watch what The Belfast Opera means to our city’s young people
Posted on: 1st February 2016
Back in the autumn, five schools hosted a series of special workshops. Led by Lucia Vernon-Long, these workshops introduced young people to opera and to what The Belfast Opera is all about. We hope that some of the young people involved will join us in the Community Chorus or in the Community Creatives.
A huge thank you to the students and staff at Ashfield Boys School, St. Malachy’s College, St. Genevieve’s High School, Victoria College, and Friends School for taking part.
In the meantime, see what The Belfast Opera means to the city’s young people, and then please help us make the World Premiere of the opera a reality by pledging support for our crowdfunding campaign at http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/thebelfastopera
